MeMe and Poppy Report for Duty!

We've had a really busy week, and we're only half way through. Jeff dedicated this week to getting some much needed household projects done. Those of you with small children know how difficult it is to do this when you have little "helpers" around. So, we called in the troops . . . MeMe and Poppy (Stephanie's parents) reported for duty first thing Monday morning.

Jeff and Poppy were able to get the tub surround installed and the new screen door put in on Monday while MeMe and Mommy held the fort down with the little "helpers." On Tuesday, Jeff, Mommy, and Poppy spent all day painting the outdoor trim around the windows. We also painted the gutters and downspouts. Needless to say, it was an exhausting two days, but we got so much accomplished thanks to MeMe and Poppy being here. The girls love to play with their MeMe, and it gives us some much needed time to get things done. My parents left early Wednesday morning, but there's still work to be done. Jeff continues working hard, and we're so proud of all he's getting accomplished. Way to go, Daddy!

MeMe and Elaina love to make blueberry muffins whenever they are together for breakfast. This time, we thought we'd let Emily in on the fun, so I've posted some pictures. They were delicious!
